Just very, very busy.

The job search went really well. First place I went into gave me a semi-permanent job (at least for the next 4 weeks). 21 hours a week teaching English ^___^. It's with Kaplan Aspect (which are aparently a branch of the Washington Post). We'll see how things go after this four weeks. They've got a lot more people signing up for classes than they expected so things are looking good for me.

I've worked there for three days now. Yesterday was pretty tough. It was a full day (8:30-3:45). By the end of the day I had this extreme headache that had me near tears. I ended up laying on the bed for an hour with the pillow over my eyes as I was rather light sensitive (light hurt!). Mum said I was pretty pale, too. I think it was a combination of stress, students and a lingering paint smell in my afternoon classroom. The afternoon class was given a book to use that's two to three levels below what their actual level is... stressed Sheena is stressed and bored students are bored (I think I've got some interesting stuff planned for them tomorrow... I hope!)

I've seen the new Transformers. Twice in one day! I loved it! There were a couple of things that had me face-palming, but my Simmons love... I feel it is finally founded! Wheelie was awesome and Sideswipe didn't get anywhere near enough screentime and Sunstreaker was completely absent!. The Twins *twitch* (as far as I'm concerned the only 'Twins' in the TF universe are Sunstreaker and Sideswipe) didn't annoy me anywhere near as much as I thought they would and they actually got some really good lines "It's an ass-kicking, it's supposed to hurt!" , so did Simmons for that matter "We are now directly beneath the enemy's... scrotum". Lennox is an Evil Genius! That move with Galloway and the parachute! *laughs*

I got that phone I was eyeing off. Samnsung Omnia. It is of the shiny! Completely touch screen so getting used to it is fun. It took me 24 hours to work out how to put it on silent. I kept getting messages during the staff meeting. Thankfully my DOS (Director Of Studies) likes Transformers and thinks my message tone (the sound Transfomers make when they transform) is the coolest thing ever. I had to keep apologising and explaining that I'd only had the phone for less than 24 hours.

In other news: There's a US Assault Ship in Cairns. I knew these things were big in theory but .... HOLY CRAP!!! That thing is freaking HUGE!!!! I'd hate to see what an Aircraft carrier is like.
