Netherlands trip part two
Feb. 5th, 2008 09:07 amWell, today was the 'Let's see how much we can frustrate Sheena' at work today. Just the students being twats, really *sigh*.
Oh, and guess what I cooked for dinner last night? PIZZA!!! That WASN'T frozen!!! I bought a pizza base, shredded cheese, tomato/garlic paste, and went mad in the pre-packaged meat section buying bacon and two types of salami, then, to top it all off, I got OLIVES!!! And mushrooms... though I forgot to put those on (didn't realise until I'd put the pizza IN the oven). Next time. It was goooooood!
My second Polish lesson involved lots of fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses and how to ask for them. Written in my version of phonetics which gave my teacher a minor conniption but she shut up when I was able to perfectly parrot back the words twenty minutes later ^_____________^.
