Well, a couple of things.
1) I went swimming today. That was the most physical activity I've had since the weather started getting bloody freezing! We went to the Mercure hotel, which has a crapload of different pools, saunas, and water slides to choose from. I went with Agnes and her fiancee and the fiancee's brother. 30zl for an hour and a half (including towels, showers, saunas, spas etc.).
The place also has horse riding, ice-skating rink, a video game parlour, AND bowling. You could spend a whole day there!
2) I'm going to Wroclaw (pronounced wrotswav) next week for four nights. It's the easter holidays and I'm getting the hell out of dodge for a while. I've got five days off so I'm bloody well going to use them. I've got a hostel booked that's right on the old town *grin* and apparently one of the best in Wroclaw. I'll let you know more about the trip when I actually get back from the trip. All I know at the moment is that it's an 8 hour train trip away.
3) I found Mead! Well, a honey liquer that's made from a recipie that's a couple of hundred years old and has spices and everything in it. It kind burns on the way down, but is most nummy! (yes, I'm drinking a glass of it right now. It's 38% proof... did I ever get that icon for when I was feeling all WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!? I can't remember. I've had a couple of mouthfuls and my head is spinning...and my throat is burning. I don't know whether that is the alcohol or the spices in the drink.). They also have honey flavoured vodka which I so have to try when I finish the bottle of whatever the hell it is I'm drinking.
4) Iconsies! I have more. I learnt a new trick with the GIMP program. I can now superimpose an image over the top of another image...and I can't really describe it, but you'll see what I mean. It's like the mother of all cut and past jobs, but I now know how to do it so expect wallpapers when I actually have the time (and am not quite so sloshed).
Three days until holidays! *cheers*!!! ThenI havfe a four daybreak in May that I'm thinking of going away for as well.. maybe to Gdansk again. I liked Gdansk.

Update from Sheena
Feb. 4th, 2008 07:47 am... I just realised that I haven't told you anything of what I did on my holiday. BAD Sheena! LOL!
So, I'll start with my first day and post one a day ('cause I'm seriously running around like a demented headless chicken on crack at the moment at work. Two new students and only a few months to finish text books that should take 4 semesters, not TWO!! Aaaaaaaaaaaah!!! STRESS!!!)
