still no word from Uni. Looks like I'm calling them again tomorrow. If they tell me my application's sitting on the "To be processed" pile again I shall be most... upset.

I know. It's frustrating the hell out of me right now. I can't get a job 'cause I don't know what's happening. I'm just glad that I live with my parents 'cause I'd be so screwed if I wasn't.
Thankfully, if this falls through I have a plan B...and plan B is sounding more and more interesting by the day. I was discussing it with the friend that I'm going to be living with and she kept going "I want you in Brisbane.....but Plan B sounds, really, really good!"
*grins* I love this new design. I try to change them every now and then just for a bit of variation. I love whales, and there's nothing more amazing than seeing whales in person when you don't expect them ^___^
totally understand.... I read your plan B in an earlier post - sounds really like a very good alternative.... but still - they could move on at the Uni... *kickstheirbut* :((((
I choose the turtles now.... since I had a very close encounter with one while diving on the maldives they're really dear to me :) but I love whales, too, and dolphins..... I keep forgetting about the great themes they have on here by now - just remembered when I saw your new one ;)
They could get a move on. Even if it's only to say "Sorry, you didn't get it". I could live with that. It's not going to shatter my world if they say no. *joins in the butt kicking*
The last time I saw a whale was last year. A family of four (with calf). Totally unexpected as we're coming back from Green Island on the Great Barrier Reef. We had to stop our boat for about 20mins while they played around us.
I absolutely adore dolphins. My room used to be decorated by them...as with my bathroom.
oh WOW!!! I've never seen a whale yet... awwwwww.... how beautiful :) :) :)
have you heard about 'The Cove'? Really brought me to tears... I hope this is going to stop..... :(((( (info in my LJ, one of the most recent posts I think)
I've actually seen quite a few whales before. The first time I was still in school. My parents booked me on a whale watching tour for some reason and didn't tell me. I thought we were just going to look at the boat until Dad hands me his camera, they shove me on board and then tell me to have a nice day. My best memory of that day is sitting on the back deck with my lunch watching the whales give "rides" to the dolphins.
Next time I went with an American friend who'd never seen whales and really, really wanted to. We surprised her with a ticket ^__^
The last time was a complete surprise. Absolutely unexpected. I'd taken that trip multiple times at that point of the year and it had always been the boat before or after us that had to stop. Not this time ^____^
I know. They do that sometimes. Randomly decide that they're going to take me somewhere and not tell me until I get there. They did that this weekend. We went to the Babinda Boulders for a picnic.
Well, if I'm in Brisbane, or Vietnam, or wherever I end up, and if there's a whale watching tour available...and you're in the area, I'll take you ^___^
I like stuff like that :D I surprised a friend once that way for her birthday - she had NO clue at all... it was very funny to organize and to see her reaction.... :)
I will so be expecting you if I do go there ^___^. I'll probably find my way to Shanghai at some point too.
That's my plan B. I found a school in Vietnam that offers the DELTA to it's teachers and only it's teachers. The more I look at it and research Vietnam the more I'm liking the sound of Plan B.
Always wanted to visit Shanghai...Guess I need to brush up on my Mandarin (which I can apparently study at University in Vietnam while I'm working there).
....Is it wrong to be half hoping that I don't get into Uni?
