And the government wonders why Australians buy their books from overseas.

From the Co-Op bookstore my textbook is $79. From The Book Depository in England (with free posting) $44. From Amazon, it's $39.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I rest my case.

Translation:

Uni starts on Tuesday and I need to buy textbooks. I think I'll be getting mine from overseas this semseter. Where, exactly, I get it will all really depend on shipping at Amazon.

I prefer Amazon for textbooks. This semester required 10 books for 2 classes. Over $400 US had I used the uni bookstore. I went through Amazon, bought used and spent $180 ($75 was for one book on its first print)

And if you can afford it, look into Amazon Prime membership. It is expensive, but what you can save in free shipping is so worth it, especially if you are like me and have to order all the TF comics anyways, 'cause no one within 100 miles caries them.
