According to the people in my poetics class I'm anal when it comes to syllables. Just because I have this habit of counting every syllable in a line.... *looks innocent*. At least I'm the only one who manages to catch it when people are being tricky with syllables etc. in their poetry .

Like today for example. Only one that caught that one of the girls had exactly 8 syllables in every single line of the poem. Only one. Not even the tutor picked it up!

Maybe I am anal about it, but at least it keeps the workshop entertained ^_^

Martin put one of my poems in the on-line newsletter when I took that class, so that's probably why I liked it more, haha :D

He did that for my Villanelle. I was very proud (since out of the whole group there were only about three altogether for the villanelle).
