... a property mogul, aparently. *grins*.
I'll clarify that later.
So, life is going at the moment. It's neither good nor bad. It looks like a I might have at least another weeks worth of work waiting for me *sighs in relief*. That is good. It means I don't have to go looking for more work just yet.
I am thinking of asking him if he knows whether or not Brisbane's got any jobs going at the moment. I've got friends there and an open invite to crash on their couches if I need to. Even if it's only for a couple of weeks I'd take it. It'd give me a chance to get down there and see my friends.
If things get too bad I will probably have to disapper back overseas again before Christmas. I'm hoping that's not the case.
In other news I got my legs waxed.... YEEEEOUCH!!!!!! But it's probably the best option for me in the long run. Two words: Shaving. Rash. *shudders*. The itch is enough to drive a person insane.
I also bought myself an 'Australian' edition of Monopoly on Friday (as we appear to have misplaced our old copy of the game and I miss playing it). I'm a little miffed that there's only two Queensland properties and they're the cheapest ones you can buy (with pitiful rents). Also, they've changed it from hundreds to millions... which this poor little Aussie has problems with. Math and me aren't great on a good day. You start putting more zeros in front of the numbers and my brain starts whimpering.
The good news is that, at some point in the intervening years since I last played the game, I have become a property mogul. I kicked my Mum's arse today in a major way. Don't ask me how I did it (as I used to be abysmal at this game). We spent most of the afternoon playing it.
And that is life in a nutshell right.
