Oi, what a day.

Well. Went for the job interview. Ran into Darth Burke and Babs on the train. 

Of course I wore the worst possible shoes that you could for the walk there too. Note to self: Next time, pack sandles and don't put the court shoes on until you bloody well get there.

I have blisters on the back of my heels the size of 5c peices. Three on the right heel and two on the left one. Ow.

The job. Well it offered a retainer as well as commission (which was 1/3rd of whatever you sold for the week). That's all well and good if you sell a lot of stuff, but if you don't you're left with $300 before tax per week to try and survive on. It's doable but not something I'd really like to try, thank you very much. I told them I'd go away and think about it.

Walked back to the city and met dad for lunch. Chicken satay filo roll thing washed down by Gloria Jean's Tim Tam Iced Chocolate (my only complaint is the crushed ice in the damn thing). Followed by a rasberry bonbon for desert. VERY nice ^_^. Before that dad tooke me to Big W and made me buy a new pair of backless, strappy, very cool looking, black shoes with a heel.

aaahh.. comfort.

I then went and bugged Sal for a couple of hours. Helped her bake chocolate cookies (as in she baked, I talked and passed things when she needed them *heh*) and showed her a cool Mummy site that's got good Ardeth piccies.

Caught the city cat back to the city. Went to borders and picked up an employment application form.

Went to the trainstation and ran into Erin and Adam at Macca's. Got to natter to them for a few minutes and then had to bolt for the train. Got on the train and halfway home realized that I'd caught the same one as dad. Bonus! Meant I didn't have to ring mum to come and pick me up.

Was almost home when my mobile started to ring. Groucho's Theatre Restaurant wants me to come in for an interview tomorrow. *squee*

I got an interview at GROUCHO'S!!!!

Oh. I also have a new obsession... well, it's an old obsession that's reared its incredibly sexy, tatooed visage, ugly head again. Ardeth Bay.

Thanks! You'll get an excited message should I actually get a job there (considering that I'm a drama major I'm willing to bet they sat up and went Ooo! when they saw THAT mentioned on my resume).

They haven't got back to me yet. I rang them up yesterday and they said they were still in the process of organising stuff, though they sounded impressed that I'd actually rung them up to check.
