Thank you! I'm still a little shocked. I've been entering for a few weeks and nothing and then suddenly there's this!

Congrats!

*grins* You know, the winning icon makes me want to start singing "Finland" from Spamalot.

Thanks! I wasn't expecting to actually win anything, but there you have it^_____________^

I don't think I've ever heard that song before (and why do I get the feeling I should be glad about that?)

Because it's in a play based off a Monty Python movie?

*shrugs* If I thought the coding would be compatible with your computer/cd player, I'd offer to burn you a copy of the Spamalot cd.

Is Spamalot based off the King Arthur mythos? I was in a musical called Glamalot in High School.... King Arthur...set in the seventies *giggles insanely*

*starts singing" "Mamma, just killed a man. Put a sword against his head, shoved it in and now he's deaaaaaaaad"

Ah, Monty Python. The people who gave us the 'Sperm Song'

*looks speculative* Depends on what the coding is.

*blinks* *mouths Glamalot?* In order: Yes, loosely. I hope they didn't have disco "fights" instead of sword fights...

*hums along, to the tune of Bohemian Rhapsody*

Yes. The movie I was referring to is "Monty Python and the Holy Grail".

*shrugs* It's just a CD my brother picked up locally. Uh, locally being Florida, USA. I have no clue if it'd be compatible or not. I don't have the actual CD sitting in front of me, as it's after midnight my time and the CD's in my bro's room. (I'm not going to risk waking him up to find out. He's got school tomorrow.)

Yup, Glamalot! Ran around in a safari suit (that itched like CRAZY) and brilliant, fire-engine red shoes that we'd re-glued the soles to and promptly had someone step on my heel...so we had to wrap duct-tape around them. It looked very funny from the audience.

Glamalot's based very loosely on it as well. Done by Toadshow productions. Their first every musical was Phantoad of the Opera: Toad Who Hops, Cannot Die *snickers*

Oh, god. I've seen that Monty Python movie. It was a long time ago though.

No, don't wake up the brother. A cd is a cd is a cd I've found. It's Dvd's you've got to worry about (don't get me started on region coding. It's one of my favourite rants).

What part did you play? The "Lady of the Lake"?

*nods* I kind of figured it wasn't a strict interpretation. O.o *snickers* I like the title, very punny.

Yeah, they made a play based off of that movie. (Supposedly, they're going to make a movie based off the play. It's a bit surreal to think of a movie based off of play based off of movie.)

Do you want me to burn you a copy? I'm going to be transferring some music from my CD's to my computer anyway, so it's no problem to add one of my brother's CD to the pile.

Sorry this took so long. Life's been crazy this week. Tests, tests, and more tests to mark. And then for some variety I've got essays as well LOL!

I was Sir Bedevere...he of the run on sentence. I swear, this guy wasn't a main character but he had the most lines in the entire play.
